Our Prediction:

Illinois State will win

Northern Arizona – Illinois State Match Prediction | 21-09-2019 19:30

If Eason is for real, this Husky team will be really tough to beat. I think they win this one behind his arm talent. I do think Cal's defense keeps them in the game, but the offense can't do enough. Skopil: Washington 31, California 16I overlooked Jacob Eason and Washington's offense in the opener, and they hung 47 points on the board and Eason threw for 349 yards and four scores.

Mack: Arizona State 49, Sacramento State 21Another cupcake of an opponent to start the season for Arizona State. ASU is favored by 35 points on Fridays matchup, so it will be a tough spread to cover. Although the Sun Devils struggled in the first half against Kent State, I expect Jaylen McDaniels and company to lead from the very start in this matchup.

The Huskers will win, but it wont be anything to inspire a whole lot of confidence going into the star of the Big Ten season. Northern Illinois will dink and dunk its way into the game, but it wont be able to go on enough long, sustained drives to get over the hump.

College Football, Week 4

Many didnt expect them to beat Arizona but with the win, Hawaii is now around a touchdown favorite against Oregon State. Wade: Hawaii 54, Oregon State 38In this edition of Pac-12 on the islands, Hawaii looks to defeat a second straight Pac-12 team, this time Oregon State. Oregon state should put up an offensive fight but I think theyre defense will give Hawaii the edge.

Give me the Buffs. This game is also at Colorado. Prehm: Colorado 35, Nebraska 31Nebraska is picked as the favorite in this football game, but I am going to be picking Colorado to not only cover the spread but to also win straight up. Nebraska didn't look good week one and the Buffs were impressive in a win against a better opponent than who Nebraska played.

Skopil: Stanford 31, USC 24The JT Daniel injury adds immense intrigue in this one. These games are always a little whacky, so don't be surprised to see this go in either direction. Without Daniel, Stanford has the better quarterback and the better coach. KJ Costello's availability looms large. This is easily the hardest one to gauge. I think that's enough for the Cardinal to open Pac-12 play with a win.

Utah will look to see improvement on the offensive side of the ball, especially against the lowly Huskies. I expect the same thing to happen against Northern Illinois, as the Utes should continue their defensive dominance. Mack: Utah 31, Northern Illinois 10Utah started the season with a solid victory over rivals BYU, showing their potential dominance on the defensive side of the ball.

National Basketball Association

I think they pick up win No. Skopil: UCLA 16, San Diego State 13I had planned on picking the Aztecs before I saw the result of their season-opener. That doesn't inspire much confidence in that offense, and I think that's how UCLA is going to win games this year. They beat Weber State, a highly ranked FCS team, by a score of 6-0. 1 in a low-scoring ugly affair.

Ultimately, this is a game UCLA should win on paper and I think they get the job done on Saturday. SDSU features their well-known running game, but this year, their defense has shown tremendous ferocity and upside. Mack: UCLA 27, San Diego State 21After a dreadful performance for UCLA in Week One, it doesnt get any easier for the Bruins as the Aztecs come into Westwood for a potential upset alert. I worry about Dorian Thompson-Robinsons ability to hold onto the ball as the Aztecs are a team that will routinely blitz.
