Well done Saturday to our under 10 girls in Boher .Both kilmallock teams had great opponents from Murroe Boher, Monaleen and Ahane. Thanks to Murroe Boher for hosting and many thanks to Pat and Tom for helping us this morning . The girls showed great determination throughout each game with some great skills on display . The girls had three great matches winning two out of three and were just pipped at the post by a single point in the other.

We could follow the example shown by Knocklong to maintain and improve the old train station. Kilmallock Railway Station Clean Up Works: After making representations since 2009 on Kilmallocks local area plan and through Kilmallock Tourism Development Ltd to Iarnrod Eireann, I am delighted to announce that we received confirmation last Friday that Iarnrod Eireann has agreed to carry out much needed works on the Kilmallock railway station grounds and building. These will include roof works, painting to the front facade of the building and repairs to the station walls, where required. Kilmallock Tourism Developments CE scheme supervisor Max Hennessy will liaise with Iarnrod Eireanns maintenance manager on behalf of Kilmallock community. This could now be the motivation thats needed to get a committee together, as much requested by Peter Hennessy and others in the community.
