Now trailing, their cause wasnt helped when panic onthe sideline prompted a whole host of positional changes, including Buston to centre-back, Kirrane to left-back, Barry Roche to left-wing, and McInerney joining Conor Laffan up top. By that point, the game was looking pretty stretched, with many of Crooms makeshift eleven unable or unwilling to track back in the defensive phase.

Our game started off very well first 15 mins we struck post twice with great efforts from Andrew power and Shane franklin .Ashling first goal came from or own corner they broke 3 on 2 and were one down .About two mins later lapse in defense and we were 2 down just on half time .Second half the lads were creating chance after chance Andrew power josh o Grady Shane franklin jay McMahon all missed 6 or 7 one on one with keeper between them .Ashling kept hitting us on break and punished every chance we missed .Cameron o Grady scored a bullet of free kick late on and we still created 4or 5 one on ones after that and josh o Grady took one .All in all game could of went either way just taking our chances or Achilles heal .Keep heads up guys the goals will come .On the day great performances from Jamie Tully Jay McMahon and Andrew power who worked so hard heads up lads on to next game.

With ten min gone Summerville tested our keeper with a shot outside the box, which brought a fine save from Dara Mc Caffrey in the boro goal. The remainder of the second half both teams were going in search of what would be a winning goal, but both defences were excellent on the day and the game finished 1 all in what was a very enjoyable game to watch. Right from the start both teams settled well, with both defences well on top. Both teams seem to be evenly match throughout the pitch , and Summerville got the break through after 20 min to put them 1 nil up at half time In the second half the boro came more and more into the game and the efforts were rewarded within 15 min played well a great pass from midfield caught the Summerville defence for Tony Casey the slot home the equaliser from the boro. On Saturday 31st October 2015 our under 12 played away to Summerville Rovers for this top of the table clash in what turn out to be a very entertaining game . For the boro this was a great team effort who showed great character after going 1 nil down to equalise in the second half.

The under 11s hosted Aisling Annacotty this past Saturday and kept up their unbeaten run in which now they have extended it for 5 games. Goals on the day for us came from the birthday boy and man of the match Shane Franklin who hit the back of the net an amazing 4 times with the pick of his goals being an acrobatic overhead kick others on the scoresheet were, Kyle Molloy, Cameron O Grady, Dessie Collins and an absolute cracker from the boot of Shay Quigley. We raced into an early 4 goal lead but the opposition pulled 2 back late in the first half. The panel on the day was Ger Daly, Adam O Shea, Shay Quigley, Cameron O Grady, Kyle Molloy, Dessie Collins, Shane Franklin, Patrick Phelan and Scott Mc Grath. This was an absolute goal fest with the standard of finishing was second to none from 2 very talented teams. The guys had a superb second half tacking on 4 more goals and eventually winning 8-3. Great stuff guys ye really played good football throughout and the passing at times was sublime, great to see everybody enjoying themselves and the smiles on your faces is just something money cant buy also just a quick thank you to the parents for their excellent support in recent weeks, keep up the good work.

The central midfielder also blazed over a great chance from the areas edge on the stroke of half-time, after a wonderful turn and cross from right-winger Eoin ONeill. McKevitt continued to have a hand in everything positive from the hosts, including an inswinging corner-kick that resulted in two consecutive clearances off the line from a desperate Croom rearguard.
